Deluxe Breeder Pack

This was my first time ever ordering any type of aquatic friend over the internet, and I am so happy I ordered from Shrimpy Business. I've ordered a fire red breeding pack, and then later a 10c skittles, 3 nerites, and a dwarf lilly.

The packaging was perfect, I can't think of any other way it can be improved. Everyone was safe and cool and cozy in the insulated box and bag. Snails came in very secure as well as the dwarf lily.

There were no DOAs, and my skittles pack had come with a few extra. The fire red came in absolutely beautiful with plenty of females.

I will say this, do not expect your shrimp to automatically start breeding if your tank conditions aren't optimal. I started with a newly cycled tank with.. acceptable.. parameters. This unfortunately lead to a few deaths (completely my fault, NOT shrimpybusiness!!). My tank was cycled for around a month and was still not long enough.

Some things I have learned:

Those nerite snails will leave your tank sparkling after literally 2 days, amazing housekeepers.

Seachem Prime and other Seachem products should be the only additives you should use.

Sponge filter and airpump to protect fry and increase oxygenation in the tank. My shrimp got a lot happier after i installed one and took out the traditional overhang filter.

The dwarf lily has exploded and I get a new stem/petal growing everyday.

Get floating plants ASAP. I got mine from a LFS. Frogbit and red roots, duckweed but keep it mind it will overtake your tank.

In conclusion I am 100% happy with shrimpy business and I absolutely cannot wait to buy some black roses nd blue dreams, so excited.

I got my breeder pack today, and it had been shipped just yesterday! (It helps that I'm in the same state.) All my green jades arrived in good condition, and the extra items in the package are a great bargain: tons of the little shrimp cones, almond leaves, 3 kinds of shrimp food, and a shrimp net. I slow-drip acclimated the little guys and have just released them into their tank. Their color is pretty dark yet, but I think that's partly stress; we'll see if they get brighter after things settle down. Here's hoping they stay happy and get busy. Very pleased with my purchase.

I bought some blue dreams and it’s starting to get cold outside so they were fairly small and didn’t have eggs but that was expected because of the weather and I carefully poured out 15 alive shrimp. Although I saw a dead shrimp torn in half and all white in the bag and I think there might be 6 boys, one shrimp also died during the acclimation process even though I was extremely careful with the drip set up. Overall I am thrilled I have 14 lively and active shrimp in my tank. They’re moving more with the temperature slowly rising so I am hopeful to see eggs soon. I was also a bit worried with the length of time it took for them to arrive but I was updated a few days after my purchase so it took about a week and they did arrive on time, two days early actually and the site updated it the morning of, so make sure you are home three days or so prior to the original arrival date incase they come early.

Just got my breeder pack of Orange Rili Neocaridina. Everything was well packaged. They all arrived healthy and feisty. No DOA. In addition to the adults, there were also 2 tiny babies in the bag. After drip-acclimating the group for a few hours, they transferred to the tank without issue and have been very active with nice color since. I'm excited to try the shrimp food and tank accessories. I finished cycling my newly planted 20 gal recently and orange fili have been doing a phenomenal job cleaning up.

Came fast excellent packaging all 15 shrimp came alive and looking good. Will be ordering more soon. Ps please give me advice on what to add to my shrimp tank it’s a 30 gallon

All are alive and well

A few are very, very tiny. One didn't make it through the 4 hours of acclimation, and I lost a couple over the past two days. Everyone else appears that they are doing well. Very pretty shrimp.

Everything arrived just as expected. This was my first time ordering live fish/shrimp for my tank. All the shrimp were alive and in good health. I was very happy and would definitely do business here again.

Have been my trusted source for shrimpers. Even got sent several extras and in perfect condition.

Up date on my tank, I have been a fish hobbyist since Was a little kid at times in the 80s my family had 25 tanks going in Montana the largest a 20gal. So you know how much maintenance time there was with the under gravel filters, live is so much easier now. Prior to getting my breeder pack I only had a 75gal cold salt water 52 degrees tank setup with local life form Alaskan waters. In november I saw shrimpy business shrimp and had to set up a 10 gal tank that has been is storage for years. most of my tanks I silicone on the back and sides. I orders a skittle's pack in early november and all arrived healthy 2 weeks later I ordered a breeder pack. Weather was cold here and anchorage so your great shipping department waited for a warmer day to ship, all fish arrived here alive and only one ship was DOA. Now for the update I wish I could include pictures because this silly little 10gal is a blast I can't count how many shrimp are in the tank, or the amount of baby fancy guppies I have had at least 6 hatchings with only 2 males and 2 females. Other tank mates include 1 hillstream loach, 3 blue eyed yellow plecos. 1 long fined blue eyed yellow pleco, 6 scarlet badis, 2 panda loaches, 4 panda killifish, and 2 different whiptail catfish. The plant life has grown out of control to the point that I have given plants to a 6 grande science class room along with 20 or so adult shrimp with 2 caring eggs. With this being said I now have set up three smaller tanks to breed same color shrimp and have set up a new 30gal tank and dug out a 18gal tank out of storage. So I guess I'm back into hobby again. I can't recombed shrimpy business and their staff high enough. Thank you for you support.

2 arrived dead, but there were 16 total instead of 15. 5 have died since. nothing else in my tank is having issues and my levels are where they should be. i didnt take a picture of the dead ones in the bag. the included niceties are good. i just hope i dont lose any more.

Shrimp arrived healthy and everything was good, except the java moss which was brown, dead and disintegrating. If the moss had been useable it would be 5 stars, but that was a big disappointment.

Absolutely love the Orange Rili Shrimp Deluxe Breeder Pack. I had extra shrimp that arrived safe and sound. They were packed well and emerged from their bags without one dead, each one looking absolutely beautiful. Love the shrimp food and let me tell you, the shrimp love it too! I have already used the telescopic shrimp net which is real handy. The shrimp love all their new tank accessories and seem to enjoy crawling all over them. I highly recommend the Deluxe Breeder Pack for anyone wishing to start a colony or add to their existing shrimp.

I got Carbon Rilis, and they are adorable!! There was alot of shipping problems, and luckily all of these little shrimp were all healthy! Theyre beautiful aswell!!

Shrimp were well packaged and shipped quickly. I had a few deaths in my tank, customer service was initially slow but after they started responding credited me back for each shrimp that did not make it. They asked pointed question about water quality to help try and identify the underlying problem. We are still working that part out but overall I am pleased with my purchase I would be likely to be a repeat customer in the future

Unfortunately I had only 3 shrimp survive the ordeal. I received 3 extra shrimp though luckily. They’re still holding strong about 2 weeks later. After some time I would probably try ordering again from Shrimpy.

SO happy with this package!!! I purchased the yellow-stripe variety. All arrived alive and well! And after two weeks, all are thriving. It does come with everything you need to start a natural breeding tank. The natural decorations are top quality, and I love the food packs! I'll definitely order more of the food when this generous supply is done. The one thing I would caution you about is that the posted TDS was not what I measured. It was almost double what they had posted, so I would recommend purchasing a TDS meter and doing the complete three-hour drip acclimation to your tank.

I was let down when opening the package, 6 of 16 were DOA. They did give me a gift card for the dead loss. Would have liked a credit put back on my card. The shrimp that lived seem to be doing well. I would buy again for the price of the pack.

I recently bought this and they were so cute. I even got an extra and lots of berried and baby shrimp. Sadly I acclimated them wrong and lost five shrimp. (this is entirely MY fault NOT shrimpy businesses)
Over all completely satisfied.

Package arrived and all of the shrimp were alive and well even had 2 extras. 2 months later and I've lost 2 shrimp but the rest are all thriving and look ready to start producing. They love the food and the extra goodies that come with this pack. It's great if you are starting out a shrimp colony.
