About This Species
Casuarina Cones are great addition to any shrimp tank. They provide a media for biofilm to grow and release tannin overtime which contains beneficial properties. They also provide small hiding spaces for shrimplets to seek refuge. These cones breakdown slower compared to other cones such as Birch and Alder cones and are generally larger.
We sell these cones in 1 oz bags, each bag should contain 25-30 cones.
We recommend boiling all botanicals before use in your aquarium. This is good practice when adding anything new to your aquarium.
I like these better than some fir cones I got elsewhere. They have plenty of surface area. My shrimp were checking them out right away.
Good quality and quantity
Exactly as described.
Love always for my tank
looks good in the tank
The shrimp and baby snails like these cones. I am hoping the baby shrimp hide in them...
I've put some of the cones in my tank, they were as described, put wish they were bigger
Haven’t used them yet but they are as advertised. In my stash for future use.
Perfect size, arrived fast and looks great in my tank! Would order again
