About This Species

To protect our animals and to ensure they get to our customers healthy, we will only ship orders with Nano Fish via UPS Next Day Air.

The Blue Emperor Tetra (Inpaichthys kerri) is a stunning freshwater fish known for its vibrant blue coloration and graceful fins. With its peaceful nature and easy maintenance, it's the perfect addition to any fish tank. Add a touch of elegance to your aquarium with this beautiful and lively fish.

Like most Tetras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.

Blueberry Tetra are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.

My fighters

They survived the extra day in all the heat. Water was quite warm in both bags so I was extra worried. But they are holding up great!

They sure do love squaring up with my other tetras though. And each other.

Not enough to damage or stress their tank mates but they sure like to try
