The Black Kuhli Loach is a great peaceful freshwater fish.  They are natural scavengers and will constantly scurry around the bottom of the tank looking for food. They have a relatively long lifespan for a freshwater fish, living up to 10 years if properly cared for. They can grow up to 3-4 inches in captivity. Some hobbyist observe that they might be more interactive than the regular Kuhli Loach.

Black Kuli Loaches are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of frozen daphnia, high-quality sinking pellets and high-quality flake food.
