He is looking very healthy and enjoying his environment home.
The 6 of them arrived alive. They were so tiny and only one has survived. Love these guys. I want to buy more when I have the funds.
Thanks for your review! These shrimp are Caridina shrimp and require a soft water setup to do well. Based on the photo, looks like the shrimp is just on normal sand which will not work for these shrimp. They require and active substrate which is designed to lower the PH and remineralized RO/DI water to ensure the dKH is 0 and the dGH is 3-4.
Before picking up more of these guys, please check out our blog for information in regards to setting up a Caridina tank and water parameters for specific shrimp. https://shrimpybusiness.com/blogs/shrimpy-business-blog

10 and an extra arrived safe and sound. I drip acclimated for about 3 hours until the temp and TDS matched. It's been a few weeks and they are growing quickly! No losses. Solid shrimp.
Will order again as soon as I've got another tank set up & cycled!
This is the most amazing shrimp out of all the shrimps we purchased! It’s vivid coloring stands out, we will totally be purchasing more of them.
Healthy beautiful shrimp. My first time with Caradina shrimp and they arrived alive and active and looking great. Perfect juvenile size (not too small but also not adult) and acclimated well. Active and happy.
Very cute, lively little guys. They came in all shades in their non-black parts, from white to rich blue. One week after receiving them they are alive, active, and well.
I have purchases Black King Kong shrimp more than once. They have proven durable, active, and interesting. I recommend the Black King Kong variety as a good next step for aquariums that have success with Crystal Black or Crystal Red shrimps.
So cute, and heart broken that our betta ate them all immediately. RIP shrimps.
Doing lovely with a good mix between king kong and panda patterns, even a cool shadow mosura, very much enjoying them!
