Native to Southeast Asia, these light blue shrimp can be found in Taiwan, southern China, Vietnam, and Korea.

Neocaridina Blue Jelly Shrimp are light translucent blue variety and are popular due to their unique coloration. We suggest speciality high-quality shrimp food if you really want to make their high grade color stand out and provide them with optimal nutrition to thrive in your aquarium.

Blue Jelly Shrimp care is relatively easy - they’re not picky eaters, can swim in various water temperatures and breed well in freshwater environments.

Blue Jelly shrimp will be able to breed with other Neocaridina varieties. However, the offspring will revert back to their original wild-type (brownish shrimp) after a few generations. If your goal is to line-breed these shrimp, we recommend sticking with one Neocaridina variety per tank.

Blue Jelly Shrimp Breeder Pack

We created the breeder packs to ensure that hobbyists will have the ideal ratio to start a breeding colony. The Breeder pack will consist of 7 female and 3 male shrimp. For a total of 10 shrimp.

While the 5 packs and 10 packs are random scoops from our tanks and will not guarantee a specific male to female ratio.

Shipped very quickly, well-packaged, and the shrimp were in great condition. A couple very vibrant blues with some cloudy-blue individuals. Overall good stock, seems very healthy and have settled well over the last week.

Not bad but not great

I have ordered before and was very pleased but this time none of the shrimps were as pictured and processing even for one day shipping took longer than expected

Hi Liz, Thank you for your review and letting us know about the blue jelly shrimp. It is normal for shrimps to appear dull when they first arrive due to the stress of shipping. Dont worry! For their color to shine through, they will need a black substrate and they will color up in a week! Feel free to reach to us if they do not color up after a week at info@shrimpybusiness.com. Thanks for your support! Means alot to us!

This business is top notch. All shrimp were alive, active, good coloring, and it wasn't long to see babies swimming.

Great quality shrimp, nice coloration, they were extremely active upon arrival, they drip acclimated perfectly, I have had no losses since arrival. I am extremely happy with the variety of size I received, some being sexually mature and the juveniles not being too small. Two females arrived berried and have continued to fan the eggs, so I am hopeful they will keep at it and get the population off to an early strong start. The moment they dropped into the tank, they were immediately busy cleaning and eating and have showed no signs of slowing down.
