Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish

Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecoxis) Is a smaller rainbowfish with beautiful iridescent scales and red fins.

We recommend keeping these guys in groups of 2 or more to achieve the best coloration for both males and females.

Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters. 

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
