Caridina shrimp are the soft water variety of freshwater aquarium shrimp. They require softer, acidic water compared to their Neocaridina cousins. To learn more about how we recommend setting up a new Caridina tank, feel free to check out our post here. Caridina shrimp come in various colors and patterns which makes them a great choice for any aquarist. These freshwater aquarium shrimp do great in planted tanks, all the aquarium plants we offer are shrimp-safe and we recommend some moss to provide additional cover for shrimplets and biofilm for them to graze on.
