Red Crystal Shrimp do best in soft and acidic water conditions, and they are highly sensitive to water changes. Following our recommended tank water parameters can help your shrimp grow and breed successfully.
Crystal Red Shrimp Shrimp require very little feeding as long as your tank contains enough algae, biofilm, or decaying plant matter. We recommend feeding every other day with high-quality shrimp food, as this can ensure a balanced diet and even keep higher grades more vibrant.
Great for planted and community tanks, you can place your peaceful and friendly Crystal Red Shrimp Shrimp with mates like Kuhli Loaches, Corydoras, and other dwarf shrimp.
Our Crystal Red Shrimp Shrimp are shipped as Juveniles at a size of around 1/4 inch in length.
These types of shrimp breed in five to six week cycles, making them strong contenders for the breeding hobbyist. As long as your shrimp are in the right water parameters, they should be fairly easy breeders.

We got the skittles pack of 10 shrimp and 5 crystal red shrimp. Shipping was quick and all the shrimp were alive upon arrival. There was a couple extra in the bag which was cool. Overall very happy with our purchase!

We started our first ever tank and ordered 10 crystal red shrimp from Shrimpy Business. They sent us a bonus 11th shrimp and everyone arrived alive and healthy! No DOAs. Packaged very thoughtfully to ensure survival. They successfully transitioned into our tank and after about 1.5 weeks all 11 shrimp seem to be thriving and molting successfully. First time customer. Purchased 20 and received 22, thank you. Fast shipping. Most S / SS grade with a couple nice looking SSS. Received a couple culls having the pattern but no density at all (see through at the tail). All arrived alive and active. Very small, time will tell how density holds up but these look very promising. Happy to purchase here again.
I am absolutely blown away at the quality service that was provided. I am extremely happy to report that I did not have a single DOA! That is super impressive for being an online order. The past couple of companies I had ordered through had problems with either large quantities of DOA's or even sending me the wrong kind of shrimp. The shrimp that I received from this company are smaller than I thought they would be but that is no issue to me. I will from now on be ordering all of my shrimp through this company!

3-4 weeks in and I’m seeing molts. I also ordered blue bolts, shadow pandas, and bloody Mary’s in their order. The bloody Mary’s are all berried now.

I ordered 5 shrimp, and got 6 which I am very thankful for! 5 shrimp arrived alive, active and healthy looking. They are small- but the listing is accurate as it says they are juveniles so this didn’t catch me off guard. I did have one very very small one in my bag( the 6th shrimp) much smaller than the others, this shrimp did unfortunately die about 10 hours after being introduced to the tank. He appeared to be weaker than the others- this could’ve been due to him being so tiny and not being able to handle shipping. The others look amazing and are zooming around eating happily! I’m very thankful that this business included an extra shrimp in my bag.

So far so good, I failed miserably last time, but I think I have better parameters this time
This is a first for me ever owning a shrimp of this kind and color and I am impressed. True to their color. They came in SUPER tiny. The size of fry so be careful if you house them with a betta or anything, chances are they will get eaten. Wish they came in a bit bigger.
They arrived all alive and active. Packaged really nice with double breathing bags. Definitely recommend.

They look very bright with a good bit of variation. We are in NJ and they arrived within 3 days from the date of shipping but 7 days ordering.
