Do keep in mind that these high-grade Green Jade Shrimp will require a high-lighted (white light) tank and black substrate to showcase their green coloration. It is common for them to appear darker or even black when you first receive them, do not worry as they will soon color up if the tank has a dark colored substrate and appropriately lit. We found that the color of these shrimp are a lot more finicky compared to other Neocaridinas. They will appear dark or even black on white substrate and might even turn darker in color temporarily when they go through changes in water parameters.Β

Green Jade Shrimp require very little feeding as long as your tank contains enough algae, biofilm, or decaying plant matter. We recommend feeding every other day withΒ high-quality shrimp food.
