Celestial pearl danios, also known as the galaxy rasboras are one of the most popular fish in the hobby today. They stand out in any planted aquarium with their vivid coloration and shoaling behavior. They enjoy an aquarium environment filled with plants. They are smaller fish and can grow to a max size of about 3/4 inch which makes them perfect for a planted nano aquarium.
Like most Rasboras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.
These fish are adult shrimp-safe, however, we recommend having sufficient plants or hiding spots for aquariums with both Celestial Pearl Danios and freshwater shrimp.
Celestial pearl danios are pretty easy to care of as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters. The following are the water parameters we keep them at:
Our Tank Water Parameters
PH: 7.2 to 7.5
GH: 7 to 8
KH: 3 to 4
TDS: 180 to 250
Temp: 72 to 75
We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.

Received these guys a couple days ago all is well all survived and there colors are starting to come out now there getting use to their environment
Bought a 5 pack of these little guys and they came in all alive and looking healthy! Colored up pretty fast as well once put into the tank. Will definitely come back for more!
They are all doing fine and really starting to color up, would definitely buy from here again
These arrived super quick. While all were technically alive on arrival, two were very small and struggling to swim. After drip acclimating and introducing to my mature tank, the same two fish continued to struggle to swim. They did not make it through the first night.
Recieved 5 CPDs and 5 sparkling gourami yesterday.
Soo tiny! I like that, this way the tank they go in now will be their "forever home."
Drip acclimated them for about an hour then thought "sink or swim time" and this morning all still swimming. The water they arrived in had a much lower pH, and was much softer than mine but since they are so young, I hope they will easily adapt. I am delighted!
