To protect our animals and to ensure they get to our customers healthy, we will only ship orders with Nano Fish via UPS Next Day Air.
Celestial pearl danios, also known as the galaxy rasboras are one of the most popular fish in the hobby today. They stand out in any planted aquarium with their vivid coloration and shoaling behavior. They enjoy an aquarium environment filled with plants. They are smaller fish and can grow to a max size of about 3/4 inch which makes them perfect for a planted nano aquarium.
Like most Rasboras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.
These fish are adult shrimp-safe, however, we recommend having sufficient plants or hiding spots for aquariums with both Celestial Pearl Danios and freshwater shrimp.
Celestial pearl danios are pretty easy to care of as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters. The following are the water parameters we keep them at:
Our Tank Water Parameters
PH: 7.2 to 7.5
GH: 7 to 8
KH: 3 to 4
TDS: 180 to 250
Temp: 72 to 75
We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.

One of the 9 isn't a Pearl but it seems happy. They were very pale, almost white when they arrived in very cold water (december) but within a day they got their green and white spots. Good purchase but I got a stranger
Hi Curtis, Thanks for your review! Please do give that 1 fish a few days to color up! It is normal for fish to loose their coloring during shipping due to trasnit stress. I have also reached out to you via email to follow up on this matter! Have a great weekend!
All 6 arrived alive. They were safe in the insulated box with a 72 hour heatpack. After a day or so, they regained their color and are doing great 2 weeks in. Thank you.
All 6 arrived alive, healthy, and have acclimated very well to my aquatic environment. Thank you so much!
I ordered 9 CPDs from you in an order that (1) faced bitter cold weather; and (2) was delayed by a minimum of an entire 24 hours. Two CPDs were DOA, and the other 7 died within only a few days of receiving. You/Gwen were gracious and gave me a full refund for all 9. However, I am very skittish about buying any more CPDs. I have continued to order other fish/shrimp from you. Thank you!
Received these guys a couple days ago all is well all survived and there colors are starting to come out now there getting use to their environment
