Every order is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. If any shrimp, fish or invertebrate arrives dead, we'll do our best to reimburse you for the lost animals. Just photograph them and start a claim within 24 hours of delivery.
We guarantee the live arrival of eligible livestock when all shipping and delivery requirements are followed. If an eligible animal arrives deceased, please follow the claim requirements for the applicable product below.
In the rare of case of Dead On Arrival (DOA) please:
To submit a claim within 12 hours of the first delivery attempt or pickup.:
•Take clear photos of the invertebrate(s) and/or fish in the unopened bag.
• Take a clear photo of the invertebrate(s) and/or fish after opening the bag and lay it down on a paper towel so the quantity is clear and visible.

For approved claims, customers will receive a store credit or a gift card for the cost of the affected invertebrate(s) and/or fish, or a replacement. Replacement shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. In some cases depending on the quantity and value of order we may reship the order.
Note : Customers are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate aquarium setup and suitable water conditions before ordering an axolotl.
Snails
Snails may remain inactive for several days after arriving due to transportation stress.
Please allow up to 5 days for a snail to become active after arrival.
If a snail has not moved after 5 days or shows clear signs that it has died or start to smell, contact us with photos and your order number. For approved claims, customers will receive a store credit or a gift card for the cost of the affected snails, or a replacement. Replacement shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Aquatic Plants
Aquatic plants may experience temporary stress after shipping. Wilting, melting leaves or dry-looking stems do not necessarily mean that a plant has died.
Please allow the plant time to acclimate and recover after arrival for almost 15 days.
If a plant arrives severely damaged or appears to be dead upon arrival, contact us as soon as possible with the clear photos of the plant as received on info@shrimpybusiness.com
Plant claims will be reviewed individually based on the condition of the plant upon arrival.
DOA Claim Requirements
DOA claims must be submitted within the applicable timeframe listed above.
Claims may not be approved if:
• The required photos or documentation are not provided.
• The animal was left outside or unattended for an extended period.
• The package was delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
• The package was forwarded to another address or the package was routed to a P.O box or mail box.
• A package was held at a carrier location and was not promptly picked up.
• The customer did not follow the applicable shipping or delivery requirements.
Carrier delays or forwarding errors will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Incorrect or Missing Items
If an order arrives with a missing or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible.

Our team will review the order and determine the appropriate resolution.
Refunds & Store Credit
Approved store credit refunds are generally limited to the affected product unless otherwise stated in the applicable policy.
For approved DOA claims, customers may receive a store credit or gift card for the cost of the affected eligible livestock.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
Replacement orders may require a new shipping charge borne by the customer unless stated otherwise

Searching for Carbon Rili Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) for sale? The Rili pattern is when the head and tail of the shrimp is colored while the middle of the shrimp is translucent. These Carbon Rili Shrimp are a beautiful Neocaridina variety and will standout in any tank.
The Carbon Rili Shrimp is a dwarf freshwater shrimp native to Taiwan. Due to their original habitat, these shrimp thrive in planted tanks with a variety of shelter options and hiding spots. Our Aquarium Plant Variety Packs can help you create the ideal environment for your shrimp.
Carbon Rili Shrimp require very little feeding as long as your tank contains enough algae, biofilm, or decaying plant matter. We recommend feeding every other day with high-quality shrimp food.
Great for planted and community tanks, you can place your peaceful and friendly Carbon Rili Shrimp with mates like Neon Tetras, Kuhli Loaches, Corydoras, and other dwarf shrimp.
Our Carbon Rili Shrimp are shipped as young adults at a size of around 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in length.

We created the breeder packs to ensure that hobbyist will have the ideal ratio to start a breeding colony. The Breeder pack will consist of 7 female and 3 male shrimp. For a total of 10 shrimp.
While the 5 packs and 10 packs are random scoops from our tanks and will not guarantee a specific male to female ratio.

Ordered a breeder pack for the Carbon rilis and Green Jades (2 separate tanks) and my goodness these shrimp look gorgeous.
As for the Rilis, on arrival I had 0 DoAs and they were all healthy. 1 month has passed and one recently released her berries (I had no berried females on purchase, so with great tank conditions they breed quick) with another one still carrying. Picture quality is a bit scant but it's fairly difficult zooming in on a baby that's 4mm max. :)
Little friends came perfectly packaged, all alive and a pleasant surprise with about 7 babies already being born! Colors really pop in my tank and love watching the littles swim around typing on their invisible typewriters.
Will definitely order from again!

I bought the breeder pack, which had brought about 5 babies in addition to the 10 shrimp! I put the babies in a 10 Gal tank the adults in a 20 Gal tank, and the adults are popping out more babies than I can count! Cherries next! XD
First time shrimp owner here! I bought 10 Carbon Rili and they were shipped in a very timely manner with all 10 shrimp and my Java moss arriving in good order.

I love these shrimp. They were easy to acclimate to my tank and add a nice pop of color.
I ordered 5 of these shrimp in addition to a Caridina order, with the intent to add them to the same tank. I set up a tank using RODI water and matched the water parameters as best as I could and these shrimp (as well as the Caridina's) are doing amazing! I ended up with 4 females and the other two are still a bit too small to tell. I really enjoy watching them. They are pretty dark in color and don't stand out when they're on the substrate I have, but they're beautiful on the plants and rock in my tank. Very happy with the purchase, price and shipping.
Absolutely gorgeous little shrimp. They all arrived healthy (and with some extra tiny babies!) and have acclimated great. I have a dark substrate, dark wood setup and was worried the carbons may not show up very well but they look fantastic, like little jewels patrolling up and down the tank. I highly recommend Shrimpy Business as a merchant and the carbons in particular as a really great color morph.
I just picked up 10 carbon rili and they are amazing! I live locally and Nick met up with me in person to avoid shipping. I had ordered some from another well known company and was very disappointed. They don’t look exactly like the picture (I think some look like blue rili) though some do look like the picture. I ordered 10 and they arrived swiftly. Though one shrimp did seem off in the bag it wouldn’t move once I released them in they’re new home again it didn’t move and just stuck to on spot on the tank within 24 hours I came backfrom work and it was white red and dead. I’m assuming from the stress of the shipping but the rest are thriving. They are also much darker than the picture on them.
