These Zebra Horned Nerite snails (Clithon Corona) are not only beautiful but they are great algae eaters. They eat algae off of aquarium walls, plants and substrate. These snails are also peaceful creatures will not bother other tank inhabitants. These are smaller than other Nerite snails and are 1/4" or so in diameter.
Nerite snails will not breed in your tank unlike other snails as brackish water is required for their eggs to hatch. Hence, they will not take over an aquarium unlike other pest snails.
We feed them a combination of our own foods Shrimpy Party, protein party, blanched vegetables (Spinach and Zucchini) and Mulberry leaves.
Recommended Tank Parameters:

I bought these guys for some emerging (not mature tufts) black beard algae that was starting to form on a few weaker leaves. Within a day they were all over it! They are smaller. I’d say it takes about three of them to make one of my full-grown nerites. Very cute and active!
Beautiful snails. Arrived alive and healthy - immediately went to work noshing on algae.
As usual a great experience.
Fish and shrimp arrived happy (I guess) and healthy. I ordered 3 Nerite snails, and one didn't make it, but I'm not going to complain, the rest of the order, 8 Sterbai Corys and 5 Amano shrimp are doing great in my newly cycled tank;
Hi Bill, Thank you for you review! Glad you love them as much as we do! I have reached out to you via email to follow up on the snail! Have a wonderful week ahead!
All animals arrived safely and in a timely manner.
We ordered the 10 shrimp and three snails.
All snails have survived and most of the shrimp. We had a about 4 die off but possibly due to temperature drop when thermostat was unplugged by mistake.
Plan on ordering again in future.
