The Yoyo Loach, scientific name Botia almorhae, is a great peaceful freshwater fish.  They are natural scavengers and will constantly scurry around the bottom of the tank looking for food. They have a relatively long lifespan for a freshwater fish, living up to 5 to 8 years if properly cared for. They can grow up to 2.5 inches in captivity.

Yoyo Loaches are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of frozen daphnia, high-quality sinking pellets and high-quality flake food.
