Vallisneria has always been popular in the aquascaping hobby because they are very easy to care for. The species we sell is Italian Val (Vallisneria Spiralis). They do not require CO2 and will do well in low to medium light aquariums. They propagate by sending out baby plants as runners. They are a great background plant as they grow relatively tall and can provide thick cover for fish fry and shrimplets.
We sell this plant as a single loose plant or in a pot.
