Description
Teddy Bear Cholla wood is the skeleton of a Teddy Bear Cholla Cactus, it is harvested after the Cactus dies. Each piece is unique and it's distinctive holes provide great hiding spots for shrimp and provide a media for biofilm to grow on. It also releases tanins into the water which is beneficial to all shrimp types. The wood will disintegrate over many months depending on the size and thickness of the wood.
We offer Teddy Cholla pieces that are 3 inches in length. Teddy Bear Cholla Wood is thicker and larger in diameter compared to Cholla Wood.
We recommend boiling all botanicals before use in your aquarium. This is good practice when adding anything new to your aquarium, the wood will also sink a lot quicker after it is boiled.
This cool looking all-natural wood is a great addition to any aquarium.
I got this for my Pygmy Cory’s and they seem to love it. It’s hey dash in and hold meetings inside or just rest on top. It’s really a nice size.
There is nothing better than to watch my shrimp climb up-and-down the Cholla Wood, they all love it!!! They like getting up high to see everything...

It has been a great addition to my tanks. My shrimp love it and spend a lot of time grazing and exploring its surface. It also provides excellent hiding spots, helping them feel secure. Natural-looking, well-made, and a great choice for any shrimp aquarium.

I wanted the wood for my two 10 gallon aquariums that I was setting up for neo shrimp. They are perfect. I wanted something short so it didn't take up too much room. It took 3 to 5 days soaking so they would no float. I love that they are chunky, with holes. The shrimp should have no problem going inside them. Just waiting for the shrimp to be delivered. You won't be disappointed at all.
Soak it in a bucket first, it'll turn your water orange. It took 4 days to sink, so don't expect to use it right away. It's a really nice shape and looks great in my tank.
That is so much liked and looks beautiful in the aquarium where there is the mystery snail and a beta fish which likes to hide inside the big wood.
