The Sparkling Gourami, also known as the Pygmy Gourami is a stunning nano fish. They have beautiful small iridescent spots on the side of their body that almost "sparkle" when light is reflected off of them, hence, their name. They are a smaller fish and can grow to a a max size at about 1.5 inch which makes them perfect for planted nano tank.
The Sparkling Gourami is a peaceful and timid fish and are accustom to fairly heavy vegetation, we recommend a planted tank to mimic their natural environment.
Sparkling Gouramis are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters. The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

GH: 7 to 8
KH: 3 to 4
TDS: 180 to 250
Temp: 72 to 75
We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
