Description
To protect our animals and to ensure they get to our customers healthy, we will only ship orders withĀ Nano Fish via UPS Next Day Air.
Pea Puffers are one of the more unique nano fish in the hobby today. Their beautiful patterns on their bodies along with their curious demeanor makes them really fun to watch!
They can grow up to 1 inch in length which makes them a smaller fish. However, they can be pretty territorial and aggressive to each other. For this reason, we recommend keeping not more than 3 per every 10 gallons. We also recommend plant cover for these fish to prevent aggression towards each other.Ā
The following are our water parameters we keep them at:
OurĀ Tank Water Parameters
PH: 7.2 to 7.5
GH:Ā 7 to 8
KH: 3 to 4
TDS: 180 to 250
Temp: 72 to 75
We feed them a mix of live frozen daphnia, frozen bloodworms and small snails.Ā

I got these beautiful girls a few months ago now. One passed away a week later but these two are thriving. The one that passed wasn't eating. It took the girls a few weeks to realize they could eat the snails that were over running the tank. I had to set up a snail breading tank as they won't really eat anything else.
They are so fun and interesting to watch. My cats to watch them too.
Ordered 3 who arrived healthy but a bit shy. The tank is heavily planted. Decided to get three more. They all joined together and have now been dubbed "The Puffer Gang". Picture is seconds after I removed a large plant (that's the debris in the water), the Puffer gang came to see what was going on! Love them.
Super CUTE Lil Puffer's š„°š„°š„°
We are so happy with the Puffers! We expected them to be small, that is no surprise. They appear healthy, active and cute as all get out.
Adorable and great at eating pest snails (and unfortunately Mystery Snails) all arrived alive and tiny
Puffers came in perfect condition packed really well and super active canāt wait to order more fish again.
Cute - feisty - love these little guys!
The puffers are energetic, healthy and very active
Pea puffers are the best fish Iāve had so far. Theyāre fun to watch and have big personalities. All three arrived healthy and in great condition. Each lives in a separate community tank with shrimp and ramshorn snailsāThey don't seem to bother the shrimp at all, but the snail population...is finally under control.
Super simple ordering and safe efficient shipping. All three puffer fish arrived alive. Thank you!
Great pea puffers, they eat like crazy and I've never had pee puffers stomachs so distended before lol. They accept all kinds of food which my last ones would not. They eat frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, live black worms and snails readily. Never get tired of watching them. One of the only fish they sent I have no complaints with.
All the puffers arrived healthy and lively! I was concerned they would be cranky with our guppies, but they all get along well in our 55 gallon tank. They are so cute and a great addition to our tank. We ordered a dozen more!
I got 3 puffers and died by the next day of getting them
I acclimated them but still lost them. They just stayed at the bottom of the tank idol. š
3 pea puffers came. 1 super sad. Other 2 fun. Im not sure the 1 will make it.
Hi Pheen, Thank you for your review! Glad 2 are fun! I am sorry to hear that 1 is super sad. It may have been stressed from the shipping but will stabilize soon! I have reached out to you via email to follow up on the health of that little puffer! Have a great day!
So cute and so lively!!
They all arrived in great shape. Quick service great gish
I had to wait a long time before it warmed up enough to ship these little beauties to my home up North. They are fascinating to watch, and are quite personable. Coming to the front of the tank to see if I have any newly hatched brine for them. They also eat snails, so when I don't have brine shrimp ready, I glean out snail from my other tanks. So far, I am really enjoying these little puffers.
One doa and one died later that day. They werenāt packaged with enough water in my opinion and they were freezing. The one that lived is doing well.
Couldnāt be happier with these puffers! Shipping was great, only one day even though I live in the south east of the US. I ordered six, and though two of the puffers were a little smaller than the others, all have settled in great. Eating and settling in wonderfully! If I ever need more, I know where to get them. Thanks so much! (Ignore the bloodworm mess in the provided video!)
