These Lightning Bolt Nerite Snails (Neritodryas Dubia) are not only beautiful, but they are great algae eaters. They eat algae on aquarium walls, plants and substrate. These snails are also peaceful creatures and will not bother other tank inhabitants. We sell our snails at around 3/4 inch in diameter but they can grow up to 1.2 inch in diameter.
Lightning Bolt Nerite Snails are native to the Philippines and are relatively rare to the hobby here in the states. They are truly gorgeous with their unique zig zag patterns and beautiful gold and black coloration. We don't usually carry them so get them while they are still in stock! :)
Nerite snails will not breed in your tank unlike other snails as brackish water is required for their eggs to hatch. Hence, they will not take over an aquarium unlike other pest snails.
We feed them a combination of our own foods Shrimpy Party, protein party, blanched vegetables (Spinach and Zucchini) and Mulberry leaves.
B-grade Snails are snails that have more chips on their shells and/or have more subtle patterns on their shells. They are otherwise healthy snails that can make a great tank cleaning crew!
Recommended Tank Parameters:

Snails arrived healthy and happy! No issues!
This little "Lightning Bolt" Nerite seems very healthy and active. However, I actually thought that I had been sent a Zebra Nerite by mistake. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the zigzag "streak of lightning" pattern and it was not yellow and black like the picture shows. It is colored exactly like a Zebra Nerite!
Very pretty snails! Arrived just fine. These keep escaping my tanks, unlike my zebra nerites, so I've had to cover all my tanks now for their own good lol
Nice looking snail. Not as bright as the pic, more yellow/tan. But I bought it to clean up algae and it surely does.
