The Lambchop Rasbora (Trigonostigma espei) is a peaceful nano fish with a distinctive "lambchop" pattern on its body. Along with its attractive appearance, this fish is known for its hardiness and adaptability, making it a great choice for beginners or experienced hobbyist alike. With its calm nature and ability to thrive in different tank environments, the Lambchop Rasbora is a perfect addition to any aquarium. We sell them at around 1/2 inch to 1 inch in size but they can grow up to 1.5 inches.

Like most Rasboras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They are a naturally schooling fish so having a large school of these guys is pretty cool to watch! They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.

These Nano fish are naturally found in soft, acidic water in their natural habitat. However, they are pretty easy to care for and can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of frozen brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
