Japanese Trapdoor Snail

This is going to be a long review. If you want to know if you should get the snails, yes.

Okay, so I ordered this snail with two others. I ordered 7.2. It shipped either that day or the day afterwards. I didn’t get them until 7.13, and I live in Oklahoma where the temperature is well above 90 right now. I started getting nervous and messaged the company. They responded and helped me track down the snails . They also informed me if there were any issues, they’d take care of it right away. My snails came healthy and happy! They started venturing quickly! There weren’t any issues.

The customer service alone is why I would buy from here again. Before I even got my snails, I had already placed another order. I’m very happy with my experience.

Just testing the water on ordering snail mail. She arrived alive and well we followed acclimation procedures recommended by shrimpy business. Low and behold the snail we received was pregnant our existing shrimp ate a few of the offspring but we were able to recover 5 of em so we shall see who makes it to adulthood. 10/10 we ordered a zebra nerite afterward

These snails are a lovely color, and are fun to watch. They bury themselves in their substrate, with just their shells peeking out. They’ve impressed me with their cleaning talent. All came happy and healthy!

This is the second Japanese Trapdoor sale we’ve ordered from Shrimpy Business and I’m very happy with them. They are active and generally front and center. They do great with the shrimp and it’s not uncommon to find little shrimp hitching a ride on their shell or giving them a cleaning service. I’m always impressed by the quality and care they take in their packaging.

They arrived healthy, and immediately started getting comfortable in my aquarium.

I am super happy with this cute little guy. I was shocked to see how small he is but as soon as I put him in the tank he was up a moving around. He's a very healthy snail and has been doing great with my other snail. I love seeing his tiny mouth on the glass, super cute.

This is my second Japanese Trapdoor Snail. My first one didn't survive, though it arrived alive. My new one is very active. It came out within minutes of putting it into an acclimation container, and now is happy in my tank.

They are great although I suggest only ordering one because they had babies the day after I put in my tank and now I have 20.

I was so excited to these back in stock & on sale!!! Even with my usps having a day delay due to extreme weather(flooding state wide) they arrived safe and active! Acclimated beautifully and eating well!

Arrived healthy and got right to work cleaning the aquarium.

I ordered 1 because it said they give live birth. Huge surprise to me, mine gave birth in shipping and now I have a tank full. I was really stressed at first but it's honestly not that bad. They are fun to watch, I have them in a tank with a betta, mystery snails, and 1 nerite snail.

All came alive and immediately became active. They are acclimating well to my stock pond and seem happy as can be!

Gorgeous! Hoshi ( star in Japanese, immediately started to graze around my Fluval Flex Endler tank. What a wonderful addition to the underwater garden. Arrived healthy and ready to explore.

Nice color healthy snails

I was expecting a smaller one based on reviews of others receiving 1/4in size babies, however the one received was about 1in! Healthy, happy and very lively even before tank transfer. Very curious, lidded tank needed if bought. Mine had 2 babies a few hours within transfer!

Pretty snail! I was not ready for how fascinated I was going to become with snails! This little guy/gal was up and moving around right away. A lot more active than I was expecting.

Our snail is arrived healthy and is thriving! It’s been doing a great job with algae cleanup duty.

Came as advertised

All of the snails arrived super healthy! I got nine snails and three hillstream loaches and they were active! None of these ones are dead their all active, but none of them are the color I thought, I'm guessing I got unlucky? Their all a deepish brown and I was looking forward to the blue and brown, but other then that their healthy and happy, just not the color I thought given the other reviews and pictures
