The Glass Bloodfin Tetra (Prionobrama filigera) is a peaceful and active freshwater fish known for its distinctive transparent body and vibrant red fins. It is a popular choice for community aquariums, due to its hardiness and manageable care requirements.

Like most Tetras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank.

Glass Bloodfin Tetras are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
