About This Species

To protect our animals and to ensure they get to our customers healthy, we will only ship orders with Nano Fish via UPS Next Day Air.

Emerald Brochis Corydoras (CORYDORAS SPLENDENS) make a hardy and wonderful addition to any freshwater aquarium. With their peaceful nature and diligent scavenging abilities, these fish not only add visual interest but also help maintain a clean and healthy environment for other aquatic life. We sell them at about 1.5 inch to 2 inches in length.

We recommend keeping these guys in groups of 3 or more for them to feel safe in a large school.

Emerald Corydoras are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

Our Tank Water Parameters

PH: 7.2 to 7.5
GH: 7 to 8
KH: 3 to 4
TDS: 180 to 250
Temp: 72 to 75

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.

1 of 6 DOA

1 of 6 DOA. Two have almost like deep line or scar (?) down their body. After few days, most of them got their fin and body color back, but 2 of them are still pale. They seem to be eating just fine. I am guessing this is is just their natural color.
