About This Species

This Crypt is a relatively slow growing plant and they propagate by sending out baby plants as runners. This Crypt is a medium-size crypt which makes it a great choice for a midground plant in any aquascape.

I got this for my small tank and I actually separated it into three because of the tank only being a 5 gallon and it has done amazing!! It has reproduced new amazingly bright green leaves on all three plants and I couldn’t be more happy!
