The Clown Killifish (EPIPLATYS ANULATUS) or Rocket Killifish is one of the most stunning nano fish in the hobby today. They are one of our top picks to add to a shrimp tank. They have beautiful yellow, black and blue coloration which makes them standout in any planted aquarium. They are a smaller fish and can grow to a a max size at about 1.5 inch which makes them perfect for planted nano tank. The purchase size for these fish is around 0.5 inch to 0.8 inch in length. 

They are a peaceful nano fish even with small shrimp and will usually occupy the top portion of the aquarium. 

Clown Killifish are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.  The following are our water parameters we keep them at:

We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia and high-quality flake food.
