Chili Rasbora
Chili Rasbora
To protect our animals and to ensure they get to our customers healthy, we will only ship orders with Nano Fish via UPS Next Day Air.
The Chili Rasboras (Boraras brigittae), also called the Mosquito Rasbora, are stunning nano fish and one of our personal favorites. These fish have beautiful colorations and patterns which make them stand out in any planted tank. They are a smaller fish and can grow to a max size at about 0.75 inch which makes them perfect for shrimp tanks.
For them to show off their deep red coloration, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 10 or more for them to feel safe in a large school.
In the wild, Chili Rasbora feed off of proteins like worms, and insects. We feed them a mix of live baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia, and high-quality flake food.
Chili Rasboras are calm in nature and can be excellent tank mates for shrimp and other smaller nano fish.
Chili Rasbora Rasboras are pretty easy to care for as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.
