Banana Stem Pieces

Banana Stems are great addition to any shrimp tank. They have a unique appearance which will make cool accents to your tank's aquascape.  They provide a media for biofilm to grow and release tannin overtime which contains beneficial properties. They also provide small hiding spaces for shrimplets to seek refuge. 

We sell these Banana Stems in 2 oz bags, each bag contains about 20 stems. They range from about 2" to 3" in length. We recommend boiling these stems for at least an hour to help them sink.

We recommend boiling all botanicals before use in your aquarium. This is good practice when adding anything new to your aquarium.
