About This Species
The Banana Plant is a very popular plant in the hobby because they are easy to care for and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions. They do not require high light or CO2. It is best to place them on top of substrate and the bananas will send it's roots down. They do not need to be buried in substrate.
Skill Level: Easy
Light: Low Light
Requires CO2: No
I was a little nervous when this arrived and one of three leaves had almost completely melted, but the shrimp just used it as a snack and it’s since grown two new ones and set down a root into the soil. love this banana plant!
This banana plant came quick and just as pictured! I am missing a few leaves but hopefully my soil is good enough to get it growing. Doesn't seem melted or sick at all.
Bananas!! It's so cute. Smaller than I imagined but I love it to death. I can't wait to see how it grows in the future. Honestly if you like the way this looks you should buy it. No regrets.
Very cute and nice size.
The bananas are awesome and everyone gets a kick out of them when they see them
The only part of my order I satisfied with. 4 stars because they shipped later than the 1-7 store policy.
It,s so cool looking really like it
Hi Zella, we’re so glad you love how unique and cool it looks! We appreciate you sharing your experience with us.
Thank you for choosing Shrimpy Business!
Arrived healthy and beautiful! Growing well.
So far so good, already growing new leaves.
Great
Was healthy upon arrival
Nice plant
Everything came in excellent, would definitely buy from here again
I ordered 3 plants and got 3, all in very good shape. The day after arrival I put 2 in my 10 gallon tank and 1 in my 3.5 gallon tank. All are thriving. I highly recommend Shrimpy Business and will be doing repeat business with them!
Received two nice banana plants that looked pretty much exactly like the picture. A nice little bunch of "bananas" at each base and a couple of leaves. They seem to be thriving already and it has only been a couple of weeks. No melt, etc. and leaves are beginning to grow larger. Perfect amount for my tank but would order more if I needed them.
Such a great addition.
nice healthy plant. Love it
Great looking cool plant,
Received 2 nice, healthy plants. Very minimal melting and new leaves are growing already.
It arrived very healthy and 💚 😊
Arrived in great condition and are slowly growing. They are cool!!
I've only had them for two weeks but they are doing well. They are different from any other aquarium plants I've had in the past so fingers crossed that they will thrive.
